We are Mike and Toni Crebbin of Whidbey Island, WA, where we raised our four children. We became passionate about adoption in 2004 as we brought home our first daughter from China. Less than two years later we completed our family, again through adoption. We are both teachers, so we were able to spend summertime the next nine years working with orphans in China. We know firsthand the cost of adoption so are excited to be a part of The Adoption Fund, to support families following Christ’s command to care for the widows and orphans (James 1:27).

Growing up on a wheat farm in Washington instilled in me a strong value for work ethic and responsibility. I bring experience in real estate, online business, and digital investment management to our non-profit organization. With a profound respect for critical thinking and core values of truthfulness, authenticity, and care for others, I am honored to have this opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of adoptive families.

Chris Routen is one of the pastors of Resonate Church in Pullman, Wa. For the past decade, he and his wife Tannis have been committed to starting churches that connect the next generation to meaningful relationships with God and with others. He’s uniquely passionate about adoption as it tangibly expresses God’s Fatherly heart for people across the world.
